Welcome back to Fancensus Spotlight, LinkedIn's most reliable source for video game digital storefront performance. All data here is curated by the Fancensus team via our Fusion platform. You'll notice each title has a Flare Score. This is the percentage of discoverability placements across console homepages, banners and curated sections. It gives a clear indicator of who's actually visible when billions of gamers open their stores.
This week (6th–12th April), our Console Discoverability deep dive focused exclusively on Deals Page visibility, where Xbox went all-in on its Spring Sale while PlayStation gave Forza Horizon 5 room to dominate. Let's unpack the data.
Console Discoverability
Xbox Deals pages were completely dominated by the Spring Sale promotion, featuring big discounts across AAA titles and leaving little room for anything else. EA Sports FC 26 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 tied for 100 Flare Score, both securing solo placements on the deals dashboard – FC 26 at 50% off (standard edition most visible) and BO7 at 45% off (split between standard and Vault editions).
Arc Raiders followed at 85 Flare Score, included in the Spring Sale after its major Flashpoint update a few weeks prior, though it had fewer solo dashboard placements than the top two. Forza Horizon 5 (78 Flare Score) and The Elder Scrolls Online (75 Flare Score) rounded out visibility through the same sale mechanics, with TESO pushing a 75% discount tied to its new free-content Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk model.
Forza Horizon 5 owned PlayStation Deals at 100 Flare Score with a 40% discount, where 50% of placements were sponsored, and the most visible placements in the Featured section. Effectively overtaking the dashboard and crowding out other titles. The remaining titles were pushed to the PS Plus exclusive sales section with the following sales:
- Who's Your Daddy (15 Flare Score) at 40% off
- Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 (13 Flare Score) at 70% off
- Nascar 25 (13 Flare Score) at 25% off
- Absolum (9 Flare Score) at 20% off
