Our Role

In order to enable us to set up your client account and/or provide our services to you via email or via our analytical platform, Fusion, we have been provided with certain personal data, including your name & email address, by yourself, one of your colleagues or via a legitimate business resource/database such as LinkedIn or Gamespress.com. We may also collect certain other personal information about you, as described further in this privacy policy.

If you do not already have a relationship with us, we might hold limited personal information about you, such as an email address, so that we may contact you to promote our services or provide relevant information we believe would be of interest to you. For the purposes of the applicable Data Protection Laws, Fancensus is the data controller of your personal data, collected in connection with your use of our website and/or Fusion or in relation to our business relationship with you.

Why We Collect And Process Your Information

Without collecting and using the information you provide to us or we obtain about you, it would not be possible for us to provide you with our services or to expand our commercial interests.

Information you give to us. We will use this information:

  • To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you/your employer and FanCensus.com and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us.

  • To provide you with information about new products or services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased, enquired about or that we believe would be of interest to you or your company.

  • To deal with legal disputes involving you, your employer.

We must have lawful basis to collect and use your personal information, therefore we will only ever use your information when the law allows us to.

  • For contractual obligations. To provide you with a quote, with information about products or services, to receive payment and/or to provide customer care and service.

Some of the above grounds and purposes for processing will overlap and there may be several grounds which justify our use of your personal information.

Retention Periods

Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for them to use for marketing purposes.

We may allow our staff, consultants and/or external service providers acting on our behalf, and our provider of payment services, to access and use your personal data for the activities we have described above. We will not share or store your data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We cannot guarantee the complete security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. Your Rights

Where we process your data solely on the basis of your consent, you are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of our processing before the withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at any time.

The exercise of your rights might be subject to certain conditions and we might require further information from you before we can respond to your request.

You may request, at any time, details of personal information which we hold about you. A small administration fee of up to £10 may be payable. FanCensus.com will aim to provide the relevant information within 14 working days, or if not possible then up to a maximum of 28 days.

A standard request form can be supplied if required, however you do not need to use a standard form as long as your request includes:

  • Your full name and contact details.
  • Details of the specific information required and any relevant dates.

If you believe that any information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
